Thank You, and a Small Update

Hi, and welcome to the new followers that have decided to join our community here.  I thought I’d take a moment to thank all of my followers, say hello to those of you that recently joined, and give a quick update on recent happenings.

First, my appreciation.  I started this blog last August on a complete whim.  I woke up one day, decided I wanted to blog, and within about 3 hours I had a blog going – no content, but the basic site was there.  I had no clue what I would write about (honestly, the same is still true today), but I thought I would figure it out.  And after I posted some content, you all decided to come on board, and I am so grateful.  I love this community.  So, thank you for being here, and welcome to those of you that recently joined.

Second, recent happenings.  I have not had the opportunity to write as much in recent weeks, but it’s not because I don’t want to.  It is that all elusive “time factor” that seems to have stolen away.  Between work and home life, I feel like I am barely keeping up with the essentials!  I am a working professional, wife, and mom, and remembering all the details of life has become another full time job!  I’ve forgotten more to-dos on my list than I care to admit, but I finally realized that the important stuff bubbles to the top.  No one can do it all, so I can stop demanding that I try.  My recent motto is to breathe, take a moment to collect, and get back in the game.

The one thing I try to remember in these cycles is gratitude.  I am grateful for these moments because they bring into sharp focus that we have what we need, and all the “noise” is the nice-to-have attributes of life.

So, with that, thank you for choosing to be here.
