The Unscripted Weekly: Emails, Cleaning, Happiness and Love

The Unscripted Weekly features links to various articles I have come across in my travels across the internet.  Feel free to share your own internet journeys, and thoughts on these articles in the comments section.

Let’s dig right in…to email, that is.  If you haven’t heard, emailgate is back, only this time, Vice President Mike Pence’s inbox is in the news.  Yes, he used a private email account to conduct state business while Governor of Indiana.  You read that right.  All the huffing and puffing during the campaign, and we have come full circle.  You can get the details here.

National Spring Cleaning Week in the UK is March 6th – 12th, and it seems like a good time for most of us to give our homes a good scrubbing.  Check out all the tips and tricks for not only cleaning your home, but also spring cleaning your life.

Ah, the quest for happiness.  I hear it all the time – “I just want to be happy”, “I only want happiness for my children”, but are we forsaking happiness in our relentless pursuit of happiness?  Tiny Buddha author Jess Stuart has a great perspective, and it is worth our time to push the pause button on our happiness project, and have a read.

“Happiness is about loving what we have rather than chasing down the things we think we want. If we can focus on what’s good in every imperfect moment, we’ll all feel a lot more fulfilled.”     ~Jess Stuart

And finally, to put all of our lives into perspective, read a dying woman’s letter about her husband, and her desire for him to have a fresh start after she is gone.  It is a beautiful piece, and left me in complete awe and gratitude.

Have a beautiful weekend.
