The holiday season can inspire even me to bake, but I need a bit of help.  Julie Thomson of the Huffington Post has pulled together 35 Christmas Cookie Recipes to get us started.  She has a full range of recipes for all baking levels.  Grab some Christmas Cheer, and head to the kitchen!

Humanity is a generous bunch.  I wholeheartedly believe that statement when I consistently see folks donating to local, national, and international causes, but finding a reputable charity can be daunting.  Vox recently provided a list of charities, and some tips on how to choose the right charity in honor of Giving Tuesday.  You can learn more about impactful charities here.

For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, we are rapidly (almost at lightning speed it seems) approaching the winter months.  I am lucky in that the seasons where we live are each about 3 months long, but for some folks, winter settles in like a hibernating bear which can bring on mood changes.  Mental Floss recently pulled together 7 Ways Lighting Can Make Your Home Happier to help combat the effects of less light.  It’s a quick read with easy ways to brighten up your home.
